The 16th edition of the congress brought together an unprecedented amount of guests, including many business and political leaders linked with Poland. The main focus was put on issues related with diplomacy, business, investment opportunities, technological development, social and charity activism. Separate panels were dedicated to the rapidly expanding crypto and hemp market.
Creating a platform for dialogue, cooperation and the exchange of ideas is the main goal of this recurring event. “In the spirit of cooperation, solidarity and mutual democratic values we want to build a peaceful future of our country and cooperate with partners all around the world”- said Kamil Szymański – Co-founder and CEO of the 60mln Congress.
“This is a congress made by successful people. If somebody came here then it means that that person is conscious of his or her success and wants to share it with others. It is good to know that Poles are successful all around the world” – said the Polish ambassador to the UN Krzysztof Szczerski. The value in promoting cooperation in the global digital economy was the major theme that was present throughout this edition.
The advantages of building networks was reiterated by Zbigniew Klonowski, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the 60mln Congress – “I know of companies, that thanks to the trust and relations garnered during our events have managed to survive the trying times that the pandemic has brought upon us. They have adapted to the changing circumstances and managed to function and thrive in the US market”.
The 60mln Congress is the prime Polonia meetup. The goal is to integrate diverse business communities in Poland and abroad. The name of the congress derives from the fact that you have 40 million Poles in Poland, and about 20 million Poles and people of Polish origin abroad. The first edition took place in Miami in 2018. Consecutive editions took place in Berlin, Rzeszów, London, Buffalo or New York. Coming editions include Chicago and Gdańsk.
