Exhibition of Paintings by Łukasz Olek - Blinkered and a meeting with the artist.
„Blinkered – having or showing a narrow or limited outlook” 
A snippet of the world revealed through the photographic lens, translated into the language of abstract painting. The artist encourages us to engage in an aesthetic dissection by searching for hidden details on the surface of the works. We experience the effect of dualistic perception, viewing large paintings from as close a distance as possible. The landscapes in the Blinkered series represent a heterogeneous yet distinct spatial fragment, narrowed down to just a few pixels and then stretched into a large-format painting. The figurative elements are reduced to the simplest and, at the same time, most essential formal essence.
