
Holds a
Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from the Silesian University of
Technology in Gliwice and is a graduate of the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education's "TOP 500 Innovators" program at Stanford University, CA,
USA. He has over 30 years of experience in managing high-tech projects and
enterprises. For the past 25 years, he has been actively involved in fostering
economic and scientific relations, as well as technology exchange between
entities in Poland and the USA. Since 2003, Mariusz Tomaka has been an active
member of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications
and the Polish Information Processing Society, serving for many years in their
governing bodies. He has participated in reviewing legislation and in developing
positions representing the ICT industry at both national and EU levels. He
contributes to the organizational and scientific committees of conferences in
the USA and Poland and serves as an expert in economics, international
cooperation, technology transfer, commercialization of innovative processes,
including research results, as well as an investor and mentor.He has
frequently held managerial positions during the creation, development, and
transformation (both division and merger) phases of business entities.
Currently, Mariusz Tomaka serves as the Director of Development at TRITEM, a
company specializing in automatic validation and testing technologies. For over
a decade, TRITEM has been undertaking projects to create Digital Twins of real
critical industrial systems for design work, implementation, functional
validation, and safety of hierarchical control systems.Since
2008, Mariusz Tomaka has been involved with the US-Polish Trade Council based
in Silicon Valley and serves as the President of the USPTC – Polsko Amerykańska
Rada Współpracy in Poland. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at the
Poland in Silicon Valley Center for Science, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
He is an active economic leader, combining roles as an initiator, investor, and
board member of innovative companies. He merges a solid educational background
with extensive managerial experience and consistently engages in initiatives
aimed at promoting and strengthening the position of Polish science and the
knowledge-based economy.
