Jan Bartkowiak is the President and Founder of Econverse, a foundation supporting the development of entrepreneurship and future skills among Polish high school and college students through a series of startup creation simulations. Econverse debuted at the National Stadium in 2022, supporting over 4,000 young people to date, while gaining support from leading experts, companies and organizations such as Microsoft, Orange, and Baker McKenzie. For his work in the area of the future of work and education, Jan was recognized as a Transcend Network Fellow, and Econverse won the Emerging Europe Awards 2023.
Jan is currently studying economics at Minerva University in San Francisco. He also won the prestigious Schwarzman Scholars scholarship at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
