Dariusz Urbanik was born in 1969 in Rzeszów, Poland. He graduated from Stanislaw Konarski High School in Rzeszów - one of the oldest high schools in Poland, and the Rzeszów University of Technology, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, specializing in building and engineering constructions. In the years 1999-2003 he worked at Exbud (steel structures for construction/industry/infrastructure), from 2003 he was the Manager of the Marketing Team, Project Manager, and then Head of the Skanska Inc. Project Team. From 2017 to 2021 he was the Technical Head of Strabag LLC.
Since August 2021, he has been the Deputy Mayor of the City of Rzeszów. He directly supervises the Departments of: Investment, Architecture, Office of the Municipal Conservator of Historical Buildings, Municipal Roads Administration, Municipal Greenery Management, Public Transport Management and the Development Office of the City of Rzeszów.
