Waldemar is a senior executive with a wealth of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and private equity. Currently, he serves as the Owner and President of Transworld Business Advisors of Ontario, a prominent firm specializing in business brokerage and M&A advisory services for businesses in the main street and lower middle market segments across industries. With over two decades of professional experience, Waldemar is dedicated to helping businesses grow through acquisitions and for business owners achieve their exit objectives.
In addition to his role at Transworld, Waldemar co-founded and currently holds the position of Managing Partner at YorkLane Capital Partners that invests in real assets and provides boutique real estate advisory services. Throughout his career, Waldemar has been involved in transactions exceeding $2 billion, encompassing financing, initial public offerings (IPOs), divestitures, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also served as a member of the senior leadership team at one of the largest real estate companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the executive team of an investment company.
Waldemar is also a former President of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as a member of the chamber’s board of directors.
Waldemar's educational background includes holding CPA, CA, and CPA (Illinois) designations, in addition to earning MBA degrees from two renowned institutions, Kellogg (Northwestern University) and Schulich (York University). These qualifications underscore his expertise in finance and business, making him a highly valuable asset in the fields of corporate finance, business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate investment.
