Sarah Okon, co-founder and CEO of Giveo App, began working on the online marketplace during her time at Boston University, where she studied Computer Science and Mathematics. After graduating in 2022, she pursued her entrepreneurial journey with YCombinator and is now focused on growing her startup.
Having migrated from Poland to the USA at 16, Sarah developed a passion for ecological innovations. She established a non-profit organization to support environmentally focused technical solutions and is always seeking new opportunities to use technology for nature. Her interest in software evolution led her to actively engage in Cybersecurity, managing engineering efforts at ConnectWise.
