Renata Marciniak

She is Polish but she has been living in Spain for 12 years. She is a university professor accredited by The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) and by Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency, AQU Catalunya,

She holds PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Economics in Cracow (Poland). She also holds a PhD in Education with the International Doctoral Research Component and Special Award for Doctoral Studies from the Autonomus University of Barcelona (UAB) from which she also holds a master’s degree in Research in Education. Moreover, she holds a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Economics in Kraków (Poland) and a Bachelor’s degree and a Master`s degree in Company Organization and Management and a Postgraduate degree in Specialist in Virtual Learning Environments from the Virtual Educa Teacher Training Institute (Argentina).

She has an extensive experience in face-to-face and online higher education at Polish, Mexican and Spanish universities. Currently, she is a professor at the Euncet University Business School in Terrassa and University of Manresa in Spain in which she teaches classes related to management of the company such as: Strategic Management, Project Management, Quality Management System, Corporate Social Responsibility, and International Economy.

Before started to be university professor, she carried out management tasks in different Polish companies and public originations such as: Vice-dean at the Faculty of Economy at Higher School of Management in Katowice, Director of the Territorial Division in Bielsko-Biala of the Silesian Branch of the Polish National Health Fund, Director of Administration and Exploitation Department at the Silesian Centre of Child Mothers’ Health. 

She is the author of the following books: Strategic management, Elements of organization, and E-learning: design, organization, execution and evaluation. She has published a number of articles in impact journals about business management, education management, and quality of online education (in Spanish, English and Polish). She is also the co-author of Polish Standards for Online Learning Services. She has also been a reviewer for many years in several high impact international scientific journals about management and e-learning.

She participated as a speaker (including keynote speaker) in several international congresses and conferences in different countries (Poland, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium, Czechoslovakia), as well as in international research projects related to the business management and e-learning quality. She is a member of scientific international associations and organizations in these fields.
