Matthew Tyrmand is a Polish American journalist, political advisor, investor, and investment banker. He has been active in political journalism, editorially and investigatively, in the USA and across Europe (with a base in Warsaw) for the last decade plus. He also co-runs the healthcare deal team for a Manhattan based boutique investment bank that has been in business since 1970 and does strategic advisory, capital formation, M&A, and biz dev for client companies in the sector. With a separate partner, also Polish-American, he co-runs a private venture focused investment fund that invests globally in early and mid stage growth companies in technology (fintech, AI, edtech, quantum computing, enterprise software), consumer products, financial services, and healthcare. The fund has had multiple exits since its formation over a decade ago. He splits time between Miami, Chicago, New York, and Warsaw....when not on a plane elsewhere.
