Marcin Luc was born in 1981 in Kolbuszowa, Poland. He emigrated to the United States at the age of 19, settling and starting work in Greenpoint. He began his professional career in the banking sector. In 2007, he was hired by Capital One Bank, where he gained his first experience with insurance and investment products.

He obtained his first insurance license in 2008, which ultimately shaped his future career path. He continued his professional development at one of Bank of America’s branches, where he was responsible for working with small and medium-sized businesses. In 2011, thanks to his father, Robert Luc, who introduced him to the world of insurance, Marcin developed a keen interest in insurance products. He took his next step toward becoming a broker by obtaining additional licenses, allowing him to sell a wider range of insurance products. He then joined his father’s insurance brokerage firm in Ridgewood, Queens. Under his father’s guidance, Marcin gained expert knowledge and experience in providing insurance services.

After four years of working together, he decided to fulfill his dream of owning his own company. In 2015, he opened his first office in Greenpoint.

The insurance brokerage firm he founded, Greenpoint Insurance Brokerage, offers a full range of insurance services, including commercial and business policies, personal insurance, health insurance, life insurance, motorcycle insurance, and many other types of coverage. Marcin is licensed to sell insurance in ten states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Illinois, Texas, Utah, Florida, and Georgia. Since 2017, the firm has expanded its operations by opening a branch in Warwick, located near the New Jersey state border.

Since 2014, Marcin has been actively involved in The Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men. In 2019, he had the honor of leading the Greenpoint contingent as a Marshal in the General Kazimierz Pułaski Memorial Parade, one of the most significant Polish-American celebrations in the United States. His dedication and commitment to the Polish-American community were recognized, leading to another prestigious honor.

Three years later, in 2022, Marcin was elected Grand Marshal of the Pulaski Parade in New York City, one of the highest distinctions within the Polish-American community.
