Manager with many years of experience in both government administration and the private sector, but also in non-profit non-governmental organisations.

He was appointed President of PAIH in February 2021. Before coming to the Agency, as Director of the Department of Supervised and Subordinate Entities, he exercised authority over entities subordinate to the Ministry of Development, Labour and Technology.

Prior to that, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Walbrzych Special Economic Zone, where, since 2016, he was responsible, among other things, for investments, finances and inspections, as well as cooperation with schools and universities. Over the four-plus years of his tenure, more than 90 entrepreneurs have joined the Wałbrzych zone, including such major investors as Mercedes-Benz, Umicore, GTHR, LS and Hongbo Clean Energy. During this time, investments in the zone have increased by PLN 6 billion, exceeding PLN 30 billion in total.

Krzysztof Drynda served as an advisor to the Minister for the Economy in the past. He was also professionally involved in the financial sector and ran his own business in this area. In addition, for many years he has been an active activist of non-governmental organisations.

Krzysztof Drynda is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at Wrocław University of Technology and a postgraduate Master of Business Administration (MBA).

He has been awarded the Silver Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
