Filip Victor is the Founder and CEO of MetaMap, a data company with a mission to help everyone access any available service from any provider in the world. Filip has led MetaMap to reach major milestones, including developing the blueprint for a leading global product, expanding operations to over 55 countries, growing the team to over 300 employees, and gaining over 500 enterprise customers. To date, Filip has raised over $100M for MetaMap, from some of the world’s best investors.
Filip graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Mathematical Biology and Theoretical Physics. Before turning to the problem of measuring people and the business of data, his academic research centered around scientific measurement and data collection —
from physics to synthetic biology. After being excluded from many basic financial services during his years as an immigrant in the US, in 2017 Filip turned his focus from mapping science data to mapping people data, committing to revolutionize how trust can be established seamlessly between people particularly in the area of financial services.
