Elisa currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner, Communications and Outreach with the City of Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. As a strategic leader, Elisa oversees the direction and execution of the department's communication, marketing and outreach efforts. She is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns that drive awareness of key initiatives, while managing media and public relations to secure positive coverage and increase visibility. Her work also extends to overseeing business education programs, empowering small businesses by providing essential information and resources for growth.
She previously worked at the Chicago Department of Aviation and Chicago Department of Public Health. Elisa is a first-generation Polish American who is deeply committed to advocating for the Polish community and honoring the rich history and culture of Poles in the Chicago. She plays an active role in supporting Polish businesses and ensuring they have access to the resources needed to thrive and connections to the city’s cultural and business landscape.
