Led the sale of Blue Run Bourbon to Molson Coors, Rabbit Hole Bourbon to Pernod Ricard, Tres Agaves to Trinchero Wine Estates. He advises founders from start-up to exit, successfully placing over $40 MM in start-ups and brand exits of over $250 MM over the past 4 years. Including Runner up for KY Venture Deal of the Year in 2021 for a $5 MM investment into Blue Run Bourbon.
Chuck has deep experience in the evaluation and integration of consumer growth brands. He is currently the Managing Director of Samos Capital, LLC, a private investment company that pairs strategic investors with seasoned management professionals to build brands.
Chuck was the Co-Founder of the Espiritus Group, Director of the Corporate Development Group at Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s), a Finance Director for Yum! Brands, for a U.S.$1 billion division and was the Acquisitions and Business Development Director for Groupe Danone in the Americas.
He has led the acquisition of over 30 companies and has led the integration of over 20 companies in the USA and the Americas.
Chuck is a graduate from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania with a BSc in Entrepreneurial Management & Finance and an MSc in International Development and Appropriate Technology.
