Bartosz Folusiak serves as First Counselor, Head of the Economic Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington D.C. since August 2020. His team covers the issues related to the economic policy pursued by the US Government and its impact on bilateral Polish-American cooperation.


He is a career diplomat and member of the Polish civil service. He joined the diplomatic service in 2008 and worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw in various positions. Prior to his posting to Washington D.C. served as a chief of unit for economic collaboration with Asia-Pacific countries. His tasks included providing expertise, identifying trade and investment opportunities and working closely with Polish diplomatic missions to protect Polish business interests in the region. In the years 2011-2017 appointed as an economic counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Berlin.

Bartosz graduated from the Cracow University of Economics and the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw. He speaks English and German.
